He knows my name

Praise_and_worship_005I thought i'd just post this praise and worship song..it just lifts my spirit up so much. Eventhough there are a billion people living in our world today the Lord still knows my name....

HE KNOWS MY NAME
Tommy Walker

I have a maker
He formed my heart
Before even time began
My life was in his hand

Chorus
He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And hears me when I call

I have a Father
He calls me his own
He'll never leave me
No matter where I go

Chorus
He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And hears me when I call  :)

For the love of the game

Feel the rush....

Pampered Kitchen Chef

Pampered_kitchen_chef_002  “Apples could be peeled perfectly in less than a minute” said the pampered kitchen chef. As soon as she said those words, the granny smith apple she had on hand turned into perfect apple slices. It was just today that I realized how much kitchen stuff had been invented to make man’s cooking lifestyle a breeze. I was with the company of married women who were full of ooooohs and aaaahs…and comments of “If I only had this when we started out..”  and “ I could just kiss the person who invented this..”. Seeing them marvel at the man-made- kitchen helpers to make “hell kitchen” into “hell-o sunshine!” made me thank God that I found these out before I got married!.  Thank God for a great Saturday morning! amidst the company of women who find pleasure in making the home a HOME and not just a house.:)

Veronika goes to DC

I stared at my plane ticket for a long time, it read: first class. The 5 hr delay for my plane ride from Memphis to DC was really worth the wait.. I, a peasant traveler was going to be seated next to people who breathe first class and this was just the beginning of an exciting 4th of July weekend.

I had a grand time in DC…the white house, the parks, the museums, the zoo, the subway and Georgetown. More than all these however, were the laughs, the endless exchange of stories and the sighs and bruhahas along the way. The numerous tagalog words mispronounced and erroneously translated and the endless side comments about odds and ends really made my whole visit more than what I expected. To daddy rich, mommy mynthia and housemates ( Binh and Mikay), Jerez
and Chey ( ang pinakakikay na tao na kakilala ko!...hehehe)…Thanks for everything.. Here’s another entry for the Roker’s travel memoirs! :)
